The Diputació de Tarragona has launched the Sustainability Forum : an initiative for the meeting and debate, where the Provincial Council invites the agents of the territory with the aim of reflecting on the main issues that affect our counties and make proposals that They allow us to move towards sustainability, doing it from our own territory.
The Sustainability Forum this year focuses on such an important topic for the territory as is Water. Within this project, the Water Forum was celebrated on February 22nd and on March 22 will be held in L'Ampolla the recognition of the Forum of Sustainability.
The recognition of the Forum of Sustainability will be presented on March 22, coinciding with the World Water Day.
The objective is to give public recognition to the agents of the territory of the Camp de Tarragona and Terres de l'Ebre that make efforts to advance towards sustainability and social responsibility and, therefore, revert to the benefit of all.
We are committed to attitudes and initiatives that seek a shared benefit in favor of the environment and society. There will be five categories and for each there will be three finalists.
The categories are: media, education and university world, civil society, public administrations and economic sectors. The individual award for environmental journalistic works will receive 2,000 euros. The categories for the educational world and the civil society will receive commemorative gifts and an economic grant of 9,000 euros for each one. Finally, the two remaining categories, those of the economic sector and the public administrations, will be awarded with a gift.

We inform you that from today and until March 16 the Call for Recognition will be opened. We encourage you, therefore, to present any initiative or proposal in your area that you represent that you have carried out to advance towards sustainability: actions for energy saving, climate change, corporate social responsibility and, especially, actions in the matter of water. And we also invite you to make this announcement available.
