An outing has been organized in Vilanova i la Geltrú, scheduled for next March 31 (Saturday), where you can enjoy a technical visit to PRYSMIAN Cables & Systems, a cultural visit to the Víctor Balaguer Museum and a lunch at Resturant Daviana .
PROGRAM:
7:30 p.m. Departure from Tortosa, Fish Market.
08.30 pm Departure from Reus, Paseo Mata (before the residence of the pensioners).
08.50 pm Departure from Tarragona, Imperial Tarraco Square (opposite the University).
10:00 p Visit to PRYSMIAN, Cables & Systems.
Accompanied by Mr. Joan Baptista Rovira, Production Manager and Mr. Manel Casals Jové, Head of Prevention and Environment, will take a tour of the manufacturing process, starting with the metallurgy of copper and aluminum, going through the different phases of the alloy, screens, wires and final layers , to the process in the testing laboratory.
12.00 h Víctor Balaguer Museum.
The Museum's artistic collections are made up of more than 5,000 objects, including the 19th-century painting and sculpture collection and 20th-century painting (Legacy 1956, Pinturas del Café, Vilanoví Promotion, Vilanova School and Contemporary Art) . Other collections available are those of decorative arts (ceramics and glass), of archeology and ethnography (pre-Columbian, Philippine, Eastern and Egyptian) and of coins and medals.
2:00 pm Lunch at Resturant Daviana, recommended by the College of Industrial Technical Engineers of Vilanova i la Geltrú.
First course: individual Xató and appetizer
Second dish: Sepia drooping with potatoes
