CIRCULAR CODE: 06/09
A course of applied solar thermal energy is considered, since the contents will be treated especially from the point of view of the implantation of the systems, their execution in work, their maintenance and their legalization, without losing sight the importance of knowing how to choose the scheme to install or the characteristics that the equipment involved must have in order to offer a suitable service and a long life.
COURSE OBJECTIVE: This course aims to introduce the thermal solar energy to students by starting from the base and moving forward in the most practical and most related contents with the execution of the solar thermal systems, ACS.
Give very clear knowledge of the criteria and key points to keep in mind so that a solar thermal system works with the utmost reliability possible, with the minimum breakdowns and with maximum safety.
Likewise, it will be necessary to offer a very concrete and direct vision of the current law regarding this topic, so that the students know at all times what regulations they should consult and when and how to comply with them.
DATES AND TIMETABLE: from February 16 to 19 (from Monday to Thursday), from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
COURSE PROGRAM (8 hours):
First blog INTRODUCTION. The main characteristics of solar collectors on the market will be explained, we will discuss the possible applications of solar thermal energy and the main elements that make up solar systems with special interest in the technical characteristics of these and their installation.
Also included in this part will be the types of schemes that a solar system for the production of ACS can present depending on the type of building is implemented and the maintenance and legalization to be discussed will be discussed.
Second block PRACTICAL CASE. The design and implementation of a solar system in a residential building will be carried out so that students can see the order of priorities to follow when making decisions and how to adapt to a cover and configuration of the building a system with dimensions marked by the current regulations.
The integration of the field of recruitment to the building will have to play an important role in explaining what pickup to choose and when it comes to defining how to implement the catchment area on its cover. This point will be used to present different existing solutions. Depending on the concerns of the group of students, a second practical case based on a single-family house or sports equipment, for example, may be carried out.
Third block VISIT A SOLAR INSTALLATION that is already running and running. The field of recruitment and equipment room and the different solutions adopted (among possible) are intended for the execution, implantation and integration of the system in the building.
DIRECTED TO: projectors, active professionals who have the card of installer and maintainers of thermal installations in buildings.
DOCUMENTATION: course tracking documentation will be provided. A CD will be delivered with a compilation of the existing regulations surrounding the implementation of thermal solar energy systems.
For the follow-up to block 3 a descriptive sheet of the visited installation will be made so that the main features of the installation can be taken during the tour.
PROFESSOR: Noelia González García, Industrial Engineer with experience in the field of solar thermal energy. Has prepared and drafted a technical book for the Public Company of the Soil, of Andalusia (Manual of application of solar energy in the building). In recent years he has conducted various courses and conferences in colleges and official bodies.
CERTIFICATION: A certificate of attendance will be given to the course. Minimum attendance of 80% of the teaching hours.
