On February 19, 2011 (Saturday) will be a visit to the CAVES JANÉ VENTURA and CALÇOTADA , which is scheduled every year.
The transfer will be done by coach, and the itinerary will be as follows:
09.00 Departure from Tortosa, Fish Market.
10:00 am Departure from Reus, Passeig Mata (before the residence of the pensioners).
10.20 pm Departure from Tarragona, Imperial Tarraco Square (opposite the Universistat).
11.30 am Visit to the JANÉ VENTURA CAVES, with tasting of wines and cavas.
1 pm Restaurant El Bosc (Banyeres del Penedès) will taste Calçotada.
5pm Return with the corresponding stops.
CAVES JANÉ VENTURA
A wine cellar dedicated to the world of wine, since 1914, in the Baix Penedès region (Tarragona), when the farmers' wines were already marketed. The first winery was in 1930. In 1985, the final step towards quality wines was bottled by bottling the first white and pink bottles. In 1990, it was cava, and in 1991 the red wine. At present, two of the five brothers of the family, Albert and Gerard with the help of their father, are leading the cellar to increasingly higher levels of quality.
The winemaker Carles Mitjans, for over 33 years, is dedicating all his professional activity to the winery.
Next, we will move to the EL BOSC Restaurant , located in Banyeres del Penedès, where the traditional CALÇOTADA will be tasted and the wines and cavas of JANÉ VENTURA will be tasted during the calçotada.
MINIMUM / MAXIMUM NAME: 40/50 registrations.
PRICE OF THE OUTPUT: 50?
The price includes: bus transfer, guided tour with tasting of wines and cavas and CALÇOTADA.
PAYMENT METHOD: Bank transfer or cash deposit to the account number 0081.0088.16.0001793085 from Banco de Sabadell, (the name of the assistant person and the name of the activity must be indicated in the document justifying payment).
