ORIGIN

The project is an initiative of AMIT-Aragon and the University of Zaragoza, seconded by the Aragonese Women's Institute, the Government of Aragon, the Women's Institute and the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology, within the project "AN ENGINEER IN EVERY SCHOOL".

This initiative began in February 2016 as a pilot test in which about 10 AMIT-Aragón engineers set out to visit five schools in the Community with activities adapted to primary school students to show that Engineering can be fun. In 2017, "AN ENGINEER IN EVERY SCHOOL", received the Third Millennium Award from the Heraldo de Aragón in the category of Dissemination.

In 2018, there was a participation of more than 100 engineers and technologists who have attended more than 50 schools in Aragon reaching up to 3000 boys and girls. In the fourth edition in 2019 there were 200 participating engineers and technologists. In 2020, due to the pandemic and the impossibility of transferring the project to schools, this publication was made.
