Under the motto 'Stop noise!', The Noiseless Week of 2021 aims to highlight all those actions and / or actions that improve the acoustic quality of our environment.
Noise Noise Week is celebrated on the occasion of International Noise Awareness Day (April 28). Noise Week, from April 26 to May 2, 2021, promotes initiatives in the framework of the prevention of noise pollution, such as environmental awareness and education, with the aim of giving visibility to the tools of management and control, as well as to promote the collaboration between administrations with different responsibilities and / or competitions in the matter, to optimize resources and to be able to offer a faster and effective solution.
Noise, understood as annoying sounds perceived by the ear, is considered a type of pollution that harms people's health and deteriorates the environmental quality of the territory.
- Public Administrations will have the opportunity to implement permanent measures to prevent noise pollution during Noise Free Week 2021
- Until May 2, there will be awareness and dissemination activities aimed at professionals in the field of acoustics, the educational community and the general public.
- The Department of Territory and Sustainability proposes the Cycle of online seminars to those who want to know more about noise pollution in their environment and participate in the enabled spaces
Among the proposed activities is the Cycle of online seminars, through which we will know what are the strategic maps of environmental noise and how to understand the information they contain. During the cycle will also present the new resource of learning and service on environmental acoustics in municipal facilities, will explain what levels of global noise we can receive at the level of the facade of homes, as sensitive acoustic receivers, and what are the resources which has the public at its disposal in order to deal with noise nuisance.
