Following instructions from the President of the Mutual Authority, Mr. José Carlos Pardo García, in accordance with the provisions of the Statutes, the Mupiti Election Regulations and the election calendar approved by the Board of Directors at a meeting held on February 8, 2019, I inform you of the CALL FOR ELECTIONS OF MUPITI corresponding to the year 2019, in which the information regarding the positions to choose and the requirements, term and form for the presentation of the candidacies are detailed.
I. CHARGES TO CHOOSE
A. ELECTIONS IN MEMBER OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Election of the 11 members that make up the Mupiti Board of Directors (in accordance with the amendment of the Statutes approved at the Extraordinary General Assembly held on June 27, 2015).
The election of the following positions corresponds:

Election of the three members of the Internal Control Commission (term of office one year)
II. REQUIREMENTS, DEADLINE AND FORM OF SUBMISSION OF CANDIDATURES
All mutualists who meet, at the date of the call, the requirements required to be part of each of the bodies and commissions in which the provision and renewal of its members, being an indispensable condition to be eligible, may be present up to date in the fulfillment of mutual obligations.
We expressly signify that the fulfillment of mutual obligations refers to all the obligations that the legal regulations and internal regulations of Mupiti, ie Statutes, Regulations and other norms, establish for mutualists. In this sense, we want to expressly state that those mutualists who may be involved in any situation that may imply a conflict of interest with the Mutuality may not present themselves as candidates to be elected members of their bodies.
It is the responsibility of the Delegate of Mupiti in the respective College, or if applicable to the College, to disseminate the call for elections for general knowledge of all those mutualists who wish to present their candidacy, the Mutuality reserving the right to make such disclosure in case of breach of this function for any circumstance.
A. MEMBER CANDIDATURES OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
1. REQUIREMENTS.
To be a candidate for a member of the Board of Directors, the following requirements must be met:
- Be a mutualist with a minimum age of three years.
- Be up to date with the payment of fees and other mutual obligations.
- Comply with the requirements of honorability and aptitude demanded by current regulations regarding private insurance.
2. FORM AND DEADLINES.
The applications must be submitted in writing that will be delivered to the offices of the Mutualidad before 15:00 hours on April 29, indicating the position that is chosen, not being able to attend more than one.
The written submission will be accepted by letter, email and fax
Once the deadline for the submission of applications has expired and within five calendar days following the end of the same, the Board of Directors will proceed to the proclamation of the candidates, corresponding to the Secretary, to communicate both the interested parties and the respective Colleges, the decision about the proclaimed and excluded candidates.
Declared sole candidates will be directly proclaimed for the respective positions.
3. DURATION OF THE MANDATE AND POSSIBILITY OF RE-ELECTION
The term of office of the members of the Board of Directors is four years, and may be re-elected.
B. CANDIDATURES IN MEMBER OF THE FINANCIAL CONTROL COMMISSION.
1. REQUIREMENTS.
All mutualists who are up to date with the payment of fees and their mutual obligations may be candidates for members of the Financial Control Commission.
The positions of member of the Financial Control Commission are incompatible with those of the Board of Directors, Delegates Committee and Internal Control Commission
2. FORM AND DEADLINES.
The applications must be submitted in writing that will be delivered to the offices of the Mutualidad before 15:00 on April 29.
Once the deadline established for the presentation of candidacies has ended and within five calendar days following the end of the same, the Board of Directors will proceed to the proclamation of the candidates, corresponding to the Secretary, to communicate, both to the interested parties and to the respective Colleges, the decision on the proclaimed and excluded candidates.
3. DURATION OF THE MANDATE AND POSSIBILITY OF RE-ELECTION.
The term of office of the members of the Financial Control Commission is one year, and may be re-elected.
C. MEMBER CANDIDATURES OF THE INTERNAL CONTROL COMMISSION.

All mutualists who are up to date with the payment of fees and their mutual obligations, and who prove sufficient knowledge and experience, may be candidates for members of the Internal Control Commission.
The positions of member of the Internal Control Commission are incompatible with those of the Board of Directors, Delegates Committee and Financial Control Commission.
2. FORM AND DEADLINES.
The applications must be submitted in writing that will be delivered to the offices of the Mutualidad before 15:00 on April 29.
