April 21st World Creativity and Innovation Day

The aim of the World Day of Creativity and Innovation is to highlight the need to articulate various sectors of society so that from their visions and knowledge great results can be obtained towards sustainable development and the well-being of society in general.

Thus, this day aims to bring together creative and innovative strategies to meet the Sustainable Development Goals, as well as promoting initiatives that go in this direction.

The UN wants to show that the role of creativity and innovation is essential when it comes to problem solving and therefore development, social and sustainable.

Creativity can be understood as the ability to generate new ideas or concepts, from new associations between already known ideas and concepts. In this way, original solutions are usually produced.
