The aim of the course is to provide a global and specific view of the full range of regulations, standards, guides and technical instructions, as well as know how to interpret and analyze specific technical issues that shape the prevention and safety in case of fire in the buildings, in order to train technical staff with a solid foundation in this field.

The course is aimed at technical staff who carry out their profession or intend to do so in collaborating entities of the Administration in matters of fire prevention, in town halls, county councils or other public administrations responsible for or participating in the procedure. of licenses of works and / or of activities, and also technical personnel redactor and / or director of execution of technical projects in matter of prevention of fires.

This course prepares for access to the official exam to obtain the technical certification of Basic Level of Prevention and Safety in case of Fire, issued by the Institute of Public Safety of Catalonia (ISPC) after passing a free exam (upon payment of the corresponding examination fee) as it develops the minimum training content of the Basic Level in fire prevention established in the annex of Order INT / 22/2013, of 1 February, by which approves the procedure for the habilitation of the technicians and technicians of collaborating entities of the Administration to act in the field of the prevention and the hygiene in matter of fires.

-Certifications and acts of verification and control within the framework of the functions defined in Law 3/2010 on fire prevention and safety.

In order to facilitate the follow-up of the course of students residing outside the province of Barcelona and counties, this course will be broadcast by videoconference, allowing the live broadcast of the course via the Internet. 11.- Ventilation. Smoke control and evacuation. Exercise of application of smoke and temperature control systems.
